As a global company, FITZ & CO works to honor each person’s dignity and celebrate the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and talents in our midst. Our team is our greatest asset, and we strive to increase its diversity. Through ongoing reflection and meaningful action steps, we work to put equity and belonging at the heart of both our workplace culture and our work product. We value the range of clients we serve across geographic boundaries and cultural landscapes. We support them in communicating more clearly their own commitments to diversity and belonging and measurably deepening their commitments over time. We strive to foster relationships rooted in genuine care, authentic connection, just treatment, and the celebration of difference.

Moreover, potential clients from or who serve underrepresented communities often look to partner with companies who are invested in the well-being of these communities. They want to know that their interests will be protected and that they will be kept safe in the partnership. While on the surface symbolic, a DEB statement is an important gesture toward or signal of a substantive set of company-wide practices and aspirations that may affirm the needs of underrepresented communities.

Sustainability

FITZ & CO has long been committed to sustainability. We are focused on cutting our carbon emissions through intentional internal steps and the economic support of climate initiatives, particularly in the art field. We are a proud member of the Gallery Climate Coalition, an international community of arts organizations collectively working toward reducing carbon emissions. We are vocal advocates for sustainable practices with our clients and partners.

We are aware that the bulk of FITZ & CO’s carbon emissions come from air travel and plan to reduce that number 25% by 2025 and 50% by 2030, in step with the Paris Agreement. As a company, we are dedicated to increasing the use of train travel and telecommuting whenever possible and to strategically considering our staff disbursement. We have pledged to have carbon neutral offices by 2050.
